- Drink 8-10 glasses of water every day.
- Half an hour exercises like walking, yoga module for constipation.
- Eat fresh fruits, vegetables and fiber content.
Few home remedies for constipation :
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, a pinch of salt in a glass of warm water. Drink the juice in empty stomach in the morning. It cleanses the intestinal track.
- Consume 1 cup of boiled fenugreek leaves everyday.
- 100 ml of spinach juice with equal amount of water twice daily will help to cure constipation.
- Orange which has vitamin C and fiber content gives relief from constipation. Eat 2 oranges everyday, one in the morning and one in the evening.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of Triphala powder to a glass of warm water and drink it every morning in an empty stomach or before going to bed.
- Raisins which is rich in fiber and great natural laxatives will help to reduce constipation. Soak 10-15 raisins overnight and take in the morning in empty stomach.
- Mix half tsp of fennel seed powder to a glass of warm water and drink it before going to bed.
- Guavas, figs either dried or ripe, banana, pears, grapes, papaya relieves constipation.
Diet :
- Avoid food contains white floor maida, white sugar and processed food.
- Eat light regular meals, have dinner early i.e., 3-4 hours before bed time.
- Have a glass of warm water early morning and before going to bed.
