Practice : Stand erect with the feet about a meter apart.
- Stretch the arms sideways to the shoulder level parallel to the ground.
- While exhaling, bend forward from the root of the waist region.
- Twist the trunk to the right side from the waist and touch the right toe or if possible outer edge of the foot with the left hand.
- Twist the neck region to look up and gaze at the outstretched right palm.
- Feel the twist and stretch of the back.
- While inhaling, raise the body to the starting position, keeping the arms outstretched to the shoulder level parallel to the ground.
- While exhaling, bend forward from the root of the waist region.
- Twist the trunk to the left side from the waist and touch the left toe or if possible outer edge of the foot with right hand.
- Twist the neck region to look up and gaze at the outstretched left palm.
- Feel the twist and stretch of the back.
- Repeat the practice 10 rounds.
