Benefits of Yoga


Yoga is the method by which a restless mind can be controlled and can attain energy. Sage Patanjali, profounder of yoga and philosophy complied principals of yoga nearly 4000 years ago. He defines yoga a process of gaining control over the mind. This technique of mind control involves two aspects.

1. Power to concentrate on anything.
2. A capacity to remain calm and quite.

All of us give importance for concentration on desire subject or object. But we do not give importance to calm down ourselves. Yoga mainly emphasizes the second part. Yoga is a skillful trick to calm down the mind. In this method we can achieve mastery over our life. Since every one or society is always striving to achieve greater happiness, bliss, creativity and higher mental faculties. Yoga is the the real solution both for individual fulfillment and social harmony.


Yoga helps us in developing our all round personality. 
  • At Physical Level asana help us to culture our body postures. With proper body postures you look energetic and pleasant. Your body language will be positive.
  • At Mental Level yoga increases power of concentration, will power and increase creativity.
  • At Emotional Level it calms the mind during situations of stress and sorrow. It makes us to accept pain and joy with equanimity.
  • At Intellectual Level it will bring harmony between attachment and detachment.
  • At Spiritual Level yoga helps in broadening the mind and to understand ourselves better.
