Paschimotanasana Stretch






  • Position : Dandasana
  • Lie down flat on the back with the feet together.
  • Raise the arms over the head and bring them to the floor, with the palms facing the ceiling. 
  • Feel completely relaxed.

Practice :

  • While inhaling, slowly raise the trunk to the sitting position, keeping the arms above the head.
  • While exhaling, bend forward from the root of your waist region to the touch the toes or bend forward as much as you can. Stay in the this for a while.
  • While inhaling return to the sitting position.
  • While exhaling, relax the trunk back into the supine position with the hands spread above the head.
  • This is one round. Repeat 10 rounds.
